Use the drop down menu under classes to find your specific class
Dear Learning Coaches and Students,
Welcome to the 2022-23 school year. Classes begin on August 22, 2022. I hope this is an exciting and academically challenging year for you. Inspire has provided online instruction for 17 years and we are good at it. Our courses are challenging and they require effort and time. As with all forms of education, you get out of it what you put into it.
For most of you this is your senior year. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding your classes, college applications or other issues that arise for you. This is a safe space. I will do everything that I can to assist you in making this a wonderful and successful final year for seniors and a great planning year for juniors.
A few housekeeping notes:
Classes begin on August 21. You are expected to complete all the lessons on your planner each day. It doesn’t matter what time of day you complete them, they just need to be done that day. On Fridays, all lessons for the week must be completed. Each Monday you start with a new set of lessons for the week.
You will be taking a benchmark assessment called Renaissance Star. Watch for more information to come. You will receive a specific time for you to take the test.
All phone and text messages must be returned within two business days. Please make a note of this. If you return a teacher’s call and they are unable to answer, leave a message so they know to call you back.
Learning coaches do not have to enter attendance. Each day you have lessons on your planner and your attendance is based on the completion of those lessons. If you do not complete all the lessons for the week by Friday, you will have unexcused absences and may have to work over vacation days. Please refer to the Inspire School Specific Handbook for the attendance and truancy policy.
Seniors – You need to complete your Career and College Readiness Data View. You will update this data view throughout the year as your plans for the future develop. It is part of the state requirement that this information is collected.
Seniors – You must complete the internship as a requirement for graduation.
I can be reached at 208-590-7240. I can also be reached by webmail through the Pearson Online Classroom system.
You can book an appointment time with me at Ms. Whipple's Calendar.
Looking forward to a great year.
Susan Whipple
