A Bit About Me
I have been teaching since I was 27. I am now 60, so you do the math. Subtract four years when I worked as a Vet Tech and you will know my career history. I love teaching because I love learning. I know it is a cliché but I learn something new everyday. I have two Bachelor Degrees and two Master Degrees. I am always taking classes and furthering my knowledge. I have traveled quite a bit. One of my more adventurous trips was to Tonga where I swam with Humpback Whales in the Pacific Ocean. I have also been to the Galapagos Islands, Prague, and, as you can see below, to Greece. The man in the picture is my partner of 13 years. Together we have two dogs. I grew up in Boise, California for undergrad and then moved to the East Coast (New York City, Washington, DC, and Baltimore). I came back to the West in 1999 and have settled back in Boise. Don and I split our time between Boise and McCall. I read voraciously, love to cook and have recently taken up tapestry weaving. |
